The Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar Plus costs $1,500 (roughly Rs. 1,20,000), while the Ambeo Sub costs $700. (approximately Rs. 56,000). Both products will be available in stores worldwide on September 22. As of now, there is no word on when the new products will be available in India.
As previously stated, despite the ‘Plus’ branding, the new soundbar is smaller and less expensive than the original Ambeo Soundbar, which was released in 2019. The older and larger soundbar has been rebranded as the Ambeo Soundbar Max and is now $2,000 instead of $2,500. The Ambeo Soundbar Max costs Rs. 1,99,990 in India.

The Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar Plus is smaller than the Ambeo Soundbar Max and features a 7.1.4-channel setup that is entirely contained within the single bar speaker. The system’s total sound output is 400W, and connectivity options include HDMI eARC, HDMI pass through, Optical Audio (S/PDIF), and Stereo RCA.
There is also dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X audio format support. The Sennheiser Smart Control app provides access to the soundbar’s customization and optimization features. The Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar Plus also supports Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, and Spotify Connect.
The Ambeo Sub is a wireless subwoofer designed to work with the Ambeo Plus as an optional upgrade if you want more attack and punch in the lows. The subwoofer has a rated sound output of 350W and can be customized using the Sennheiser Smart Control app.
