Her expertise extends to improving marketing strategies, expanding outreach and increasing sales revenue, and her commitment to industry involvement includes active participation in healthcare conferences and networking events, where Mr. Harrison has broadened her focus to support sustainable practices within the environmental sector.

The decision to establish Harrison Data and Information Services was informed by Ms. Harrison’s extensive experience across various industries and her recognition of the critical role data plays in enhancing operational efficiency. Ms. Harrison attributes her success to a comprehensive approach to the analysis of organizational facets and developing cohesive plans that inform strategic decision-making.

Before founding her own company, Ms. Harrison served as a licensing account manager at the American Hospital Association in Chicago from 2013 to 2020. In this role, she was responsible for licensing data, which contributed significantly to the organization’s financial growth. From 2010 to 2013, she excelled as the director of database management and analysis services in the membership department at the American Osteopathic Association, also based in Chicago. Her career also includes a successful tenure as a project manager on contract with Quadel Consulting Corporation from 2009 to 2010 and as a consultant with Harrison Consulting from 2007 to 2009. Notably, Ms. Harrison also held key positions in risk management at Kirkland & Ellis LLP between 2002 and 2007 and thrived as a grants manager and resource center director at Wellness House in Hinsdale from 2000 to 2002.

Ms. Harrison’s ability to generate income for organizations through data and information has been a hallmark of her career. At Wellness House, she secured significant annual funding from various foundations through grant writing, and her success continued at the American Hospital Association through data licensing initiatives. In addition to her professional endeavors, Ms. Harrison is committed to serving industry-related organizations, and since 2023, she has been on the board of directors as director of outreach for the Association of Independent Information Professionals, where she has sustained membership since 2020.

Ms. Harrison’s academic background and training have proven foundational to her professional advancement. She earned a Master of Business Administration in leadership and finance from Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame in 2006. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia, which she completed in 1989, and an Associate of Arts in journalism and computer science from Stephens College, which Ms. Harrison proudly finished in 1985.

Ms. Harrison is actively involved with several organizations that reflect her diverse interests and secure her networking opportunities. She has volunteered with the West Michigan Environmental Action Council since 2021, and from 2019 through 2023, she volunteered as a scholarship applications reviewer for the University of Missouri-Columbia, her alma mater. Ms. Harrison also served on the board of trustees for Park Ridge Public Library from 2006 to 2015, where she proudly held every officer position and capably chaired multiple committees.

Ms. Harrison’s personal interests include walking with her dog, visiting beaches, gardening and dining out.
