ORLANDO, Fla. – Two of Florida’s “most legendary restaurants” are located right here in Orlando, according to Southern Living.

Orlando’s “beloved dive” and a restaurant inside of the Waldorf Astoria made the list of 17 eateries the publication described as cultural icons.

Coming in at No. 8 is Lee & Rick’s Oyster Bar which has been shucking oysters since 1950. It started as a “9 stool establishment which only served oysters,” according to its website.

The restaurant, located at 5621 Old Winter Garden Road, features an 80-foot oyster bar and is operated by Lee & Rick’s oldest son.

The front exterior of Lee & Rick’s is a large wooden boat. Sail on down, the restaurant now seats up to 50 patrons!

The Bull & Bear Steakhouse inside of the Waldorf Astoria Orlando comes in at No. 15 on their list. I have a feeling the dress code might be a little different than at your friendly oyster bar.

This restaurant, which features menu items like escargot, gnocchi, and a 36-ounce tomahawk ribeye, is named after the original Bull & Bear in New York City.

According to their website, it was named as one of the top 100 restaurants in the U.S. by OpenTable.
