Ms. Roberts has established herself as a distinguished professional in health care administration. She currently serves as the system director of equity and inclusion at Lee Health System. Since 2024, she has been instrumental in developing and implementing equity and inclusion strategies across a health system that includes six hospitals specializing in rehabilitation, children’s care and acute care. Her work focuses on ensuring equitable health care opportunities and outcomes for all patients and fostering an inclusive environment for staff and stakeholders.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Roberts made significant strides at Main Line Health from 2014 to 2024. She began her tenure as a graduate intern before advancing through roles of increasing responsibility. From 2018 to 2020, she served as the program administrator for the medical student advocate program and health equity operations. She then served as interim director of health equity from 2020 to 2021 before being appointed system director of health equity, where she was instrumental in establishing a strategic plan to integrate equity into all functions of the health system.

Ms. Roberts’ leadership spanned 13 clinical areas and included significant contributions to food security initiatives through federal government collaboration and securing grant funds. Notably, she helped to leverage the hospital’s farm and produce to provide free produce home deliveries to patients in need during COVID when patients were being seen via telehealth appointments.

Ms. Roberts’ professional journey also includes valuable experience gained during her time as a graduate intern at Penn Medicine with the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Her expertise is further recognized through her active involvement in several industry-related organizations. Since 2014, she has been a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has held leadership positions within the National Association of Health Services Executives, including serving as president of its Delaware Valley Chapter from 2017 to 2019 and as northeast regent on its board from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, she has been a member of the Society for Human Resource Management since 2024 and has contributed to the Healthcare Leadership Network of the Delaware Valley since 2015, serving in various functions including as a member of the Academic Relations Committee, Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee and ex-officio member of their Board.

Ms. Roberts’ foundation in health care administration was built upon her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she graduated in 2010, and her coursework in French language and literature at Paul Valéry University Montpellier 3 in France in 2009. She furthered her education with a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2014. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident in her attainment of certifications such as the diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace certificate from the University of South Florida Corporate Training and Professional Education at the University of South Florida in 2021, earning a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and credentials as an associate in risk management.

Ms. Roberts attributes much of her success to the valuable relationships and networks she has built throughout her career. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is actively involved in civic-minded organizations, such as serving as a navigator to introduce people to health insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act and volunteering with mentoring programs at Girard College High School in Philadelphia, PA. Her dedication to community service has been recognized with several awards, including the ICare Recognition Award from Main Line Health in 2015.

In her personal life, Ms. Roberts enjoys traveling, exploring different cuisines and hiking. Looking ahead, she is committed to continuing her growth with Lee Health System and making further positive impacts within the Fort Myers community while also aspiring to contribute to health care advancements in her ancestral country of Trinidad and Tobago.
