MOUNT LAUREL, NJ, July 25, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ — Christopher H. Baum has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

An accomplished information technology professional with over 30 years of expertise in project management, systems development, and customer support in the election industry, Mr. Baum serves as the Chief Compliance Officer of VotRite. He has also been a project management consultant for numerous companies. Mr. Baum has contributed to several notable publications, including Forbes.com, Faulkner Information Systems, and Demos on Demand. For the latter, he designed and hosted virtual educational conferences for clients.

Over the years, Mr. Baum worked for the Board of Elections in New York City, designing and establishing protocols for voting systems. Similarly, he founded Vener8, through which he developed, produced, and marketed a tablet-charging dongle, and served in research, executive, and management roles with Gartner, Inc., Datapro Information Services Group, Henry Silverman Jewelers, Inc., and the Norton Brothers Computer Center. During the early stages of his career, Mr. Baum also provided valuable expertise to Texas Tech University’s Health Sciences Center, ComputerLand, Software Advice, and MDB Information Systems. In recognition of his professional achievements, he won the Gartner Cultural Icon Award for Teamwork and the Gartner Bronze Award for Sales Partnership.

While establishing himself professionally, Mr. Baum attended Occidental College and later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from The University of Texas at El Paso. Upon his graduation from UTEP, he was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. Subsequently, he expanded his knowledge by securing a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Continuing to expand his knowledge, he completed and maintains a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.

In other pursuits, Mr. Baum enjoys voice-over roles. He wrote, produced, and starred in the then KryptonRadio.com broadcast of an updated “War of the Worlds,” which premiered on the 75th anniversary of the infamous Orson Welles Mercury Theater of the Air production. He wrote and voiced the SmokeAndMirrors.com feature “Aluminum Doesn’t Give a Damn.” He was also one of the original voices for SpokenLayer.com.

He is anticipating publication of his first book, a satirical cookbook entitled Cats, Blenders, and Skillets. Ten percent of the net proceeds will support a local New Jersey animal adoption center.

Mr. Baum is an avid hiker and camper. His longest solo hike to date was a 5 day 60 mile end-to-end trek through New Jersey’s Pinelands on the Batona Trail. His fourth day included an unpredicted Nor’easter which caused him to spend 11 hours in the storm in a one-person tent. He would often day hike with his (sadly now passed) 115 lb. white shepherd Spirit. Meeting other hikers on trails, Mr. Baum would unpack several backpacking chairs and a small table. He would then use a backpacking stove to make hot beverages to share along with conversation. He became known as “The Coffee Guy with the Big Dog.”

Mr. Baum is married. He and his wife are the proud parents of two grown sons.
