Lava, the homegrown brand, is reportedly planning to launch the Lava Blaze 2 in India in April. The company has not commented on the alleged phone, however, rumors and speculation about the phone’s expected features have already surfaced online. According to reports, the smartphone has now been spotted on Geekbench, which suggests the processor and some other important details. The upcoming smartphone is said to be equipped with UNISOC T616 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM.

according to a report Passionate Geekz spotted the upcoming Lava Blaze 2 on Geekbench certification page with model number LZX409. The listing reportedly suggests that the handset will be powered by a UNISOC T616 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM.

The listing also indicates that the octa-core chip comes with a frequency of 1.82 GHz and a clock speed of 1.95 GHz. According to the alleged listing, the Lava Blaze 2 should also be preinstalled with Android 12.

Additionally, the listing suggests that the phone scored 359 in single-core tests and 1,497 in multi-core tests on Geekbench 5. While the Geekbench listing reportedly only has so much information, the phone’s specs and first look image were also there leaked lately. According to the leak, the smartphone could come with a Unisoc T616 SoC and the price of the smartphone could be under Rs. 10,000 The leak also included a first-look image of the purported Lava Blaze 2, showing a glass rear panel.

The handset is shown in the leaked images in an unspecified shade of orange. The Lava Blaze 2 will likely feature a dual rear camera housed in two large circular cutouts. There could also be an LED flash next to the rear cameras, as per the leaked image. The company has yet to announce other hardware specifications such as display size, battery capacity and the charging capacity of the handset.
