Mr. Plumb is an accomplished author and historian with a distinguished career spanning several decades. He has made significant contributions to corporate and historical fields, demonstrating expertise in marketing and creative, compelling writing.

Initially joining General Electric as a marketing executive, Mr. Plumb worked for the organization from 1969 to 1996. During his tenure, he managed a federal government contract for the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, playing a crucial role in disseminating the alcohol report in the early 1970s. At Fannie Mae, he spearheaded initiatives aimed at helping underserved populations, particularly African Americans and Hispanics, navigate the homeownership process. After his retirement, Mr. Plumb pivoted, becoming an author and historian in Potomac, Maryland. His commitment to preserving history is evident through his numerous publications and projects illuminating pivotal moments in American history. Mr. Plumb, following his undergraduate education where he received a Bachelor of Arts in history from the State University of New York at Buffalo, joined the U.S. Navy, serving as an ensign to lieutenant from 1964 to 1968.
