Hitachi High-Tech Unveils Advanced Tabletop Microscopes with Enhanced Automation

Hitachi High-Tech Corporation has announced the worldwide release of its latest innovation in electron microscopy—the TM4000PlusIII and TM4000III Tabletop Microscopes. These new models are designed to elevate usability and streamline operations, particularly in manufacturing and educational environments where efficiency is paramount.

The TM Series offers a compact solution that brings the capabilities of an electron microscope to a more accessible, tabletop format. This small yet powerful design is ideal for a wide range of applications, from research and development to quality control and science education. In response to the growing demand for user-friendly tools that can handle large sample volumes with minimal expertise, Hitachi High-Tech has equipped these models with advanced automation features.

One of the standout features of the TM4000PlusIII is its recipe creation capability, which allows users to automate critical functions like stage positioning and magnification settings. This innovation significantly reduces the need for manual adjustments, ensuring consistent and efficient operation. Additionally, both models are equipped with a filament monitoring system that tracks the condition of the tungsten filament, providing users with real-time updates to facilitate timely maintenance and extend the tool’s operational life.

The TM4000PlusIII and TM4000III will be showcased at JASIS 2024, taking place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, from September 4-6, 2024. With a global sales target of 6,000 units, Hitachi High-Tech is committed to delivering these advanced microscopes to support manufacturing industries worldwide.
