Ms. Khoury joined BOLDPlanning, Inc. as the director of client relations and continuity planner from 2009 to 2013 after serving as a graduate intern at Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA). Ms. Khoury’s academic achievements have significantly contributed to her professional success. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University in 2002, followed by a Master of Business Administration from Jack C. Massey College of Business at Belmont University in 2005. In 2010, she obtained a graduate certificate in community preparedness and disaster management from the Department of Public Health in Community Preparedness and Disaster Management at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Additionally, she holds several certifications, including community emergency response team (CERT) trainer certification from FEMA in 2016, certified business continuity professional (CBCP) designation from DRI International Inc. and professional development series certification from FEMA.
Ms. Khoury attributes her success to her drive and concern for people’s safety, ensuring they are prepared for potential crises rather than being caught off guard. Her loyalty to Belmont University is evident through her service and her commitment to supporting its growth. She believes that teaching students to be proactive and prepared is essential for their welfare and safety.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Khoury is actively involved in civic organizations. She volunteers with The American National Red Cross and has been recognized with the Tower Award for Exceptional Contribution in Campus Life by the Student Affairs Department at Belmont University.
Outside of her career, Ms. Khoury enjoys spending time with her family and dog, hiking, swimming and traveling.
