Dr. Damico’s expertise is not limited to data analysis. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and German, a second in physics from Ohio State University, a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of California, Davis, a master’s degree in ancient/classical Greek language and literature from the University of Michigan, a master’s in applied mathematics from the University of Washington, and a Ph.D. in philosophy from UC Davis. His diverse educational background enriches his approach to data analysis and education.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Damico aligned himself with the American Philosophical Association. Given his professional achievements, he won the Rockefeller Prize for Philosophical Writing in 2014 and the R Programming Certificate with Distinction through Coursera the following year. While his career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Damico takes the most pride in winning the Rockefeller Prize and earning several certifications through Bellevue College.
Dr. Damico’s career has been a testament to the power of hard work and dedication, but he attributes his success to his ability to embrace new challenges and his mentor, Victor Caston. His resilience and adaptability have been key to his success.
