In 2007, she joined Portia Bell Hume Behavioral Health and Training Center as a psychologist, where she worked until 2008. During this period, Dr. Campbell honed her skills in clinical psychology and gained valuable experience that would later inform her transition into career coaching.

In 2008, Dr. Campbell founded Ignite Your Potential, a coaching company dedicated to helping individuals navigate their career paths. Dr. Campbell’s extensive and diverse educational background laid the foundation for her successful career. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, history and creative writing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002, where she was consistently on the Dean’s List. Additionally, she studied English at the University of Oxford in 2000. Dr. Campbell went on to obtain a Master of Arts in clinical psychology from Sofia University in 2006 before completing her PhD in clinical psychology at the same institution in 2010.

In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Campbell holds several certifications that have bolstered her expertise in career coaching. She completed the Certified Professional Coach Certificate from Erickson Coaching International in 2010 followed by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Certification Program from CPP in 2013. In 2014, Dr. Campbell expanded her credentials by completing Gallup’s Successful Strengths Coaching courses, equipping her with advanced tools to help clients leverage their strengths effectively in their careers.

Dr. Campbell’s dedication to civic engagement is evident through her substantial volunteer and service work. Her tenure with Hospice of North Carolina from 2001 to 2002 allowed her to support individuals in end-of-life care, while her role as a Peace Corps teacher in 2002 offered her a unique perspective on education and cultural exchange. These experiences have enriched Dr. Campbell’s understanding of human behavior and compassion, which she seamlessly integrates into her coaching practice.

As an author, Dr. Campbell has made significant contributions to the field of career development. Her book, “Career Compass: A Guided Journal for Discovering a Fulfilling Career Path and Designing a Life You Love,” published by Chronicle Books in 2021, provides valuable guidance for individuals seeking career fulfillment. Additionally, Dr. Campbell penned “Body Psychotherapy Modalities,” which was featured in the United States Association for Body Psychotherapy Journal in 2005.
