Ms. Aguilar is a distinguished professional with a robust career at AT&T, where she has been employed for over 15 years. Since 2020, she has been serving as the vice president and general manager for North Texas. In this role, Ms. Aguilar manages the company’s strategy, planning, and execution of specific work areas while collaborating with network partners for assessment. Mr. Aguilar’s expertise in volume growth, financial growth, and large team leadership has been instrumental in her success.

Before her current position, Ms. Aguilar was assistant vice president of project program management for customer service transformation in 2020. From 2018 to 2020, she was the assistant vice president of the call center in Mexico, a role where she oversaw operations and played a pivotal role in increasing its workforce from 1,400 to an impressive 3,400 employees. This achievement was significant to Ms. Aguilar as a second-generation Mexican American.

Ms. Aguilar’s earlier roles at AT&T included associate vice president of strategy and business planning, chief of staff to the chief executive officer in Mexico, director of marketing analytics, chief of staff for the chief marketing officer of home solutions, and associate director of converged customer experience. She began her journey at AT&T in the leadership development program from 2006 to 2008 before receiving her first position as a lead financial analyst from 2008 to 2009.

Ms. Aguilar’s commitment to professional development is evident in her educational background. She studied at Saint Mary’s University in San Antonio, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing in 2003. Furthering her academic pursuits, she received a Master of Business Administration on campus in 2005.

Adding to her success, Ms. Aguilar is also actively involved in various civic organizations. She has served as a member of the advisory council of executives at Greehey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University since 2019 and has been on the comprehensive land use plan committee for the city plan commission since 2022. Ms. Aguilar’s volunteer efforts include working with the National Charity League and serving on the board of Ignite Mindshift. She is also involved with Women of Tocqueville through United Way and has participated as a fundraiser for Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

In light of her professional accomplishments, Ms. Aguilar has received several accolades. She was honored as one of the Influential Hispanics in Technology by Hispanic Engineering and listed among the HITEC 100 Top Most Influential and Notable Hispanic Professionals in the Technology Industry. She was also named a fellow in the emerging executive program by the Hispanic Technology Executive Council.

Ms. Aguilar attributes her success to the mentorship and candid feedback she received from numerous mentors, advocates, supervisors, and peers throughout her career. Additionally, her drive is fueled by her desire to empower underserved and underrepresented groups.

Looking ahead, Ms. Aguilar aims to expand her professional reach and further develop her achievements while joining corporate boards to address Latino underrepresentation. She is also dedicated to joining the board of the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum in 2025 while remaining active on the advisory board of her university’s business school.
