JACKSONVILLE, FL, November 17, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ — Tre Mosley, a 16-year-old junior and cancer survivor, recently showcased his basketball prowess at the All American High School Basketball Showcase, scoring 18 points, with 6 assists and 4 rebounds.(YouTube Video). He was named Best Offensive Player at Calvary Christian Academy High School in 2023 after leading his team to the championship with 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in one of the most competitive games at the tournament.
“When I’m on the court, my main objective is to give my best to the game,” Tre said. “I carry everyone who has faced challenges like mine with me. I want to show the world that it’s possible to shine even when the odds aren’t in your favor. I was honored by the invitation from the All American Showcase; it was a great experience.”
After the showcase, when asked about-facing five defenders during a layup, Tre joked, “I was thinking maybe they needed a sixth defender,” with a smile.
“Tre is a very talented player both offensive and defensive plays,” said Israel Martinez, teammate. “He is a very good team player, and passes the ball.”
Balancing academics and sports, Tre maintains a 3.0 GPA and trains five hours on weekdays and eight hours on weekends as he prepares for the 2024 college basketball season with the first game on Friday, Nov 22.

Diagnosed with Wilms Tumor, a kidney cancer, at age two, Tre battled cancer for seven years and has been cancer-free for nine years. His courage on the court inspires everyone around him.
