Reliance Jio Launches New Rs. 222 FIFA World Cup 2022 Data Pack: Details

Reliance Jio has introduced a new Rs. 222 data add-on pack exclusively for the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. The plan is valid for 30 days. The top-up packages offer high-speed data usage of up to 50 GB. According to the telecom provider, the plan doesn’t offer any benefits for calling or texting. The new case is referred to as the World Cup Soccer Data Pack. 222 data plan from Jio comes with 50GB of high-speed internet data. However, it can only be used when connected to an existing basic plan, and subscribers can only take advantage of the additional data after exhausting their daily data limit. The plan can be accessed via Jio’s website or via the My Jio app.

The plan is only valid for 30 days. Launched especially for football fans, it allows them to stream the matches live on JioCinema and other platforms. Therefore, it is possible that the telecom operator will drop this plan after the 2022 FIFA World Cup. However, there is a similar plan priced at Rs. 301 that comes with all the benefits as the Rs. 222 plan.

Apart from this, yo Users can also opt for cheaper data add-on plans priced at Rs. 181. It offers 30GB of data for 30 days on an existing plan.

Recently Vodafone Idea introduced four new international roaming (IR) plans exclusively for the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. This VI Roaming top-up packages include data connectivity, outgoing calls to India, SMS and other additional benefits. These plans are only available in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
