Held earlier today, the Game Awards 2022 marks the epic conclusion of this year’s gaming season and promises more for years to come. The lengthy three-and-a-half hour show took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, starring recurring host Geoff Keighley, backed by a terrific musical orchestra and an even louder personal audience. With Elden Ring taking home the coveted Game of the Year award, celebrity appearances, a slew of new title reveals, and one person sneaking onto the stage before being arrested, this year’s celebration felt like a pretty big affair . Some of the most notable announcements this time include Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding 2, the studio’s first-ever sequel in Hades II, gameplay for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Diablo 4, a release date for Street Fighter 6, and more.

Death Stranding 2

Yes, that’s a working title, but the rumors were true. Hideo Kojima widens the arc of death stranding, featuring a trailer starring Fragile (Léa Seydoux) who is being pursued by an unseen assailant hoping to hunt down her baby – or BB. However, her body no longer looks wrinkled as a result of the time Higgs (Troy Baker) tortured her.

Having succumbed to Brainiac’s mind control, this version does not shy away from killing, promising our escaping misfits a formidable foe.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC

The skilled huntress Aloy returns Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores DLC as she ventures into a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles that’s now a treacherous volcanic archipelago. According to developer Guerrilla Games, the story picks up right after the events of the main game, promising a “massive” machine menace lurking in the shadows of the overgrown and broken city where lava seethes. Despite being an add-on, players can explore the land by diving into bodies of water or riding on the back of a sunwing.

The Last of Us Part I PC

The Last of Us Part I finally has one personal computer release date that will no doubt offer tons of advanced features tailored for the PC gamer. The emotional zombie killing survival game should appear “very soon” after this PS5 version release, but it seems like developer Naughty Dog is taking its time to get things right.

Another exclusive PlayStation headline for PC is return, the third-person roguelike experience that transports you between the stars to investigate a mind-numbing death loop. While at first glance the gameplay feels like a generic shooter where you gun down swarms of aliens, it’s the psychological horror and addictive, unpredictable dungeon-crawling elements that prevent it from falling flat.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor gameplay

Picked up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen OrderCal Kestis is now a powerful Jedi Knight, pushing his limits as he advances his dangerous crusade against the oppressive Empire. As promised, EA has delivered a gameplay trailer showing off his telekinetic abilities as he grabs firing stormtroopers from afar and uses their weapon power to damage enemies.

The overall combat feels in familiar territory for a Souls-esque, as you’re armed with a lightsaber, while for traversing you can tame ferocious, intergalactic beasts to ride. Also the Release date leak Missed by just two days from earlier this week – so close!

Hades II

Supergiant Games explores Greek mythology even further, with its timeless roguelike mechanics that reward you with unpredictable stakes on every playthrough. This time you play as the underworld princess Melinoë, daughter of Persephone and Zeus, who is armed with a plethora of enchanting ranged spells to defeat incoming enemies. The divine conflict is more at stake this time, as it is no longer a dispute between father and son, but a matter of time and the cosmos – literally, as you face off against Chronos, the personification of time.

street fighter 6

Release date: June 2, 2023
Platform: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S/X

You must appreciate the courage shown by PlayStation, leaky the release date for street fighter 6 a day before The Game Awards 2022. Capcom’s latest fighting game is now available for pre-order on the above platforms, and we have a new trailer showcasing its diverse character roster, including returnees Dee Jay, Manon, Marisa, and JP. We also got a glimpse of the single player World Tour mode, where you could meet up with Masters to learn special movesets.

Tekken 8

Jun Kazama, who was presumed dead in Tekken 2, reunites with her son Jin in the upcoming fighter Tekken 8. To rid the world of “evil and corruption,” the duo engage in high-stakes combat throughout the story mode, against multiple recurring characters including Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, Jack-8, King, and Lars. The game builds up Unreal engine 5and continues the tragic story of the Mishima and Kazama bloodlines.

Idris Elba in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

Crash Team Rumble

Crash Team Rumble is a 4v4 multiplayer experience in which players must collect and discard the most wumpa fruit while navigating obstacles and platforms, smashing past enemies and defeating the legendary characters – Crash, Dingodile, Dr . Cortex, and more – Skills to emerge victorious.

Final Fantasy XVI

Release date: June 22, 2023

The Long Delayed Final Fantasy 16 Finally a release date and set of gameplay clips. The trailer, titled Revenge, transports us to the medieval-inspired world of Valisthea as we take a closer look at the colossal, summonable Eikons – Ifrit, Shiva, and Garuda – battling it out in grand arenas. You can also add Torgal the dog as a loyal party member when you venture out into the wild. Final Fantasy XVI is also the first title in the series to ditch its turn-based combat system for a hack-and-slash mechanic.

Armored Core VI: Fire of Rubicon

It hasn’t even been a year yet Elden ring came out and By software has already teased his latest project where you drive around as giant robots and best enemies in dramatic battles involving tons of explosions, missiles and what appears to be an EMP-based attack. Strange to see robots carelessly carrying it around.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon continues the oldest line of acclaimed developers, but this time as game director Hidetaka Miyazaki is involved. So it couldn’t be far-fetched to expect some Souls-like elements, right?
