Before accepting his current position, Mr. Mehta excelled as the senior vice president of global supply chain and chief procurement officer at Edgewell Personal Care from 2020 to 2022. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s supply chain operations. Before that appointment, he thrived as the vice president and merger integration lead at Edgewell Personal Care from 2019 to 2020, where he led planning of integrated complex business processes post-merger. From 2017 to 2019, Mr. Mehta served as the vice president of global procurement at Edgewell, where he implemented strategic initiatives that significantly improved procurement efficiency.
Mr. Mehta’s profile is further defined by significant roles with signature brands such as L’Oreal and Avon. As the associate vice president of purchasing for the Americas at L’Oreal from 2013 to 2015, he streamlined purchasing processes across the region. At Avon, he was the global head of contract manufacturing from 2011 to 2013, and he proudly optimized manufacturing contracts on a global scale. Mr. Mehta’s earlier career at Coty saw him in various leadership roles including Manufacturing, Packaging Engineering, and global external supply chain.
Exceptional academic accomplishments have proven critical to Mr. Mehta’s advancement. He completed a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Mumbai in India, after which he pursued graduate studies. He now proudly holds a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Clemson University as well as a Master of Business Administration in supply chain management from North Carolina State University College of Management. Notably, he also completed an Executive General Management from Harvard Business School and became an alumnus in 2019. Mr. Mehta attributes his signature achievements to faculty support, teamwork and mentorship and his personal commitment to hard work.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Mehta remains actively engaged in opportunities for civic service.
