As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Ms. Dewberry has established a diverse and impactful career, which is marked by her dedication to education and her passion for fostering student growth. Since 2024, she has served as a dyslexia specialist at Fort Bend Independent School District, working with over 85 students requiring specialized expertise. Ms. Dewberry’s commitment to her students is evident in her approach, which emphasizes challenging tasks and perseverance. She also manages communication with parents and serves as a case manager for an additional 20 students. In addition to her work in the school, Ms. Dewberry has served as a section editor and reporter for Conexion PR since 2023.

Previously, Ms. Dewberry excelled as a professor of English at the Universidad Interamericana De Puerto Rico from 2021 to 2024, where she contributed to students’ academic development in higher education. Her career also included significant contributions to aerospace education. As the Wings Aerospace Academy program coordinator at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum between 2017 and 2019, she was pivotal in shaping educational programs that inspired students to explore careers in aerospace. Ms. Dewberry’s earlier experience also included serving as the department chair at KIPP Colorado Schools from 2012 to 2016 after her journey began as a teacher at Mesa County Valley School District 51 during the 2011-2012 academic year.

Ms. Dewberry’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in special education with an emphasis in reading in 2011 and a master’s degree in culturally and linguistically diverse education with an emphasis in TESOL in 2019 from the University of Northern Colorado. Her certifications include behavioral finance from Duke University, SEL strategies from Coursera Course Certificates, and youth camp director certification from the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Dewberry is actively involved with the International Association of Professional Writers and Editors. She also volunteers for adult education programs and other local causes.
