A veteran, Mr. Ramstead’s career began in the United States Navy, where he served as a naval aviator from 1988 to 1995. During this time, he flew the F-14 Tomcat and participated in combat cruises. Following his military service, he transitioned into the corporate world, holding various leadership roles, including chief operating officer for North America at Synera, district manager at EMC, and vice president at Bernstein Global Wealth Management.
In 2011, Mr. Ramstead faced a life-altering horseback riding accident that led to a lengthy recovery process. Undeterred by this setback, he transitioned into coaching and founded The Ramstead Group, LLC, where he served as an executive coach from 2014 to 2022. His resilience and determination have been instrumental in building a successful coaching enterprise that now employs three individuals and a team of ten experienced coaches.
Mr. Ramstead’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which he earned in 1988. He is also a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation.
Throughout his career, Mr. Ramstead has been involved with several industry-related organizations, including the Christian Economic Forum, the International Coaching Federation, the National Speakers Association, and the Society for Human Resource Management. His expertise in executive coaching, management consulting, and small and medium-sized businesses has earned him recognition as one of the top professionals in his field.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Ramstead is deeply committed to civic engagement. He currently serves as co-chair of the board of directors for Urban Youth Ministries and is an advisory board member for the Denver Institute for Faith and Work. Additionally, he has been an advisor for ACE Scholarships and has held various leadership roles with organizations such as the Colorado Faith and Freedom Coalition and Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado.
Mr. Ramstead is also an accomplished author and podcaster. His book, “On Purpose with Purpose: Discovering How to Live Your Best Life,” published by Mount Tabor Media in 2021, has been well-received. His podcast has been recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of the top ten leadership podcasts.
In his personal life, Mr. Ramstead enjoys flying, reading, hiking, skiing, biking, spending time with family, traveling, and historical walking tours. He has been married for 34 years and has three adult sons. Looking ahead, he aims to assist 100 clients in doubling their profits on average within the first year of their collaboration. More importantly, he is excited about the prospect of seeing this group of clients collectively contribute $30 million from their profits to address local issues in their communities.
