Ms. Alley is a Senior Vice President and Trust and Wealth Advisor at Pinnacle Financial Partners, where she has been serving since 2023. In this role, she represents Pinnacle in their capacity as Trustee and serves as the relationship manager for clients. She manages administrative tasks, brings in new clients, liaises between portfolio managers and clients and oversees individual management accounts. Her expertise in trust, estate planning and probate is well-regarded in the industry.
Prior to joining Pinnacle Financial Partners, Ms. Alley was an associate attorney at Legacy Law Group PLLC in 2023. Her legal career began at Hooper Zinn & McNamee, PLLC, where she served as an associate attorney from 2018 to 2023 after initially working as a legal assistant and then paralegal from 2017 to 2018.
Before embarking on her legal career, Ms. Alley was a nanny to four children in addition to being a mom to her own two; she was an art teacher and had a career as a muralist from 2008 to 2018. Her transition from being an artist and teaching art to practicing law was driven by her circumstances of becoming a single parent: she sought a stable and successful career to better provide for her children compared to the unpredictability of an artist’s life. Her dedication to her new profession is evidenced by her successful completion of the bar examination on her first attempt at the age of 44 through in-depth study and diligent preparation. She considers this milestone to be one of her most significant accomplishments.
Ms. Alley’s educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Nashville School of Law in 2018 and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in art from Samford University in 1996. Her academic achievements were recognized with graduating in the top ten of her class and the John B. Downey Jr. Scholarship at Nashville School of Law in 2018. She attributes much of her success to the supportive network she has cultivated within her professional community and her ability to surround herself with a competent team in all her positions.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Ms. Alley is actively involved in civic activities as a volunteer with the Nashville Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition. She is also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Tennessee Bar Association. Her participation as a contestant on CBS’ Survivor Season 45 showcased her resilience and ability to adapt and thrive under challenging conditions, experiences she now shares as a motivational speaker.
In her personal life, Ms. Alley enjoys running with her dog, spending time with her family, volunteering and baking. Looking to the upcoming years, she is committed to excelling in her current role at Pinnacle Financial Partners while expanding her engagements in motivational speaking. Through these efforts, she aims to inspire the next generation of women to recognize their inherent strength and capability. She is also working toward her certification in financial planning, which she anticipates completing in 2025.
