*Step into Wonderland: LTCFC’s Mad Hatter’s Tea Party Delights London Families*
London, February 3rd, 2025 –
The London Taxi Drivers’ Charity for Children (LTCFC) recently transformed the Grosvenor House Hotel into a whimsical wonderland with its 51st annual Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. This cherished event, held on January 19th, brought together around 600 children, along with their parents and carers, for a day brimming with magical experiences and joyful memories.
This year’s celebration was nothing short of spectacular, featuring an eclectic mix of entertainment that captivated attendees of all ages. From the futuristic charm of two Robo dogs to the enchanting presence of Star Wars icons and Disney Princesses, the event was a feast for the senses. The Band of the Scots Guards added a touch of grandeur with their stirring musical performance.
Children from S.E.N.D. primary schools indulged in a delightful feast, while adults and volunteers savored refreshments generously provided by Wenzel’s the Bakers. The festivities concluded with a visit to Santa’s grotto, where each child was gifted with an array of toys, games, and chocolates, accompanied by a special LTCFC sensory ‘Louie’ taxi and keepsake bag.
“The laughter and joy we witnessed was truly heartwarming,” shared Wendy Bell, committee member at LTCFC. “Our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party continues to be a beacon of happiness and community spirit, and we are thrilled to bring such joy to the children of London.”
