He achieved the designation of Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) in 2005 and previously served the firm as a managing partner from 2011 to 2016.

He was president of the Downey Optimist Club from 1994 to 2010 and is a member of both the Family Law Section of the State Bar of California and the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists. Before venturing onto his vocational path, Mr. Gold laid a strong foundation for his career achievements with an equally impressive academic background. He earned a Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1993, following a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1984. His education equipped him with the critical thinking skills and comprehensive understanding of legal principles that have been integral to his success as an attorney.

Along with his education, Mr. Gold attributes his success to personal influences that shaped his drive for excellence. He credits his parents for instilling in him a strong work ethic and determination and the teachers who recognized his potential early on. Additionally, he is immensely grateful for the unwavering support of his wife, which has been crucial throughout his career.

Beyond his professional life, Mr. Gold is known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen. In addition to donating to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, he gives back to his community by volunteering with Olive Crest, Someone Cares Soup Kitchen, Working Wardrobes, Habitat for Humanity and the Orange County Food Bank.

Mr. Gold’s personal life is enriched by various interests and pursuits such as playing golf, traveling, reading and watching sports. Looking to the future with optimism, he is focused on completing and publishing the book he is currently writing and aims to continue practicing law with passion and dedication.
