Her journey with Brown & Riding began in 2014, when she joined as a technical assistant. Over the years, she progressed through various roles, including production assistant, production associate, associate broker and account executive, showcasing her dedication and skill in the field.
In addition to her role at Brown & Riding, Ms. Rubin is the director of special events for the Young Risk Professionals of Georgia, a position she has held since 2024. Her commitment to the organization reflects her passion for promoting the insurance field and attracting new talent. In 2023, she founded Coverage & Clubs, a women’s golf league in Atlanta that brings together professional women who share a love for golf and a commitment to excellence in their careers. This initiative highlights her dedication to creating opportunities for women in the industry.
Ms. Rubin’s academic background laid the foundation for her career. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in risk management and insurance from the School of Business Administration at the University of Mississippi in 2015. During her time at the university, she was an active member of the Ole Miss Women’s Golf Team and served as captain in her senior year. Her involvement in golf not only honed her leadership skills but also introduced her to the risk management and insurance program that would shape her professional path.
Alongside her experience and education, Ms. Rubin holds certifications that further underscore her expertise in the field. She earned a construction risk and insurance specialist designation from the International Risk Management Institute Inc. in 2023, along with a surplus lines insurance broker license from the Georgia Department of Insurance and Safety Fire in 2021. In both Georgia and Illinois, she possesses property and casualty insurance producer licenses.
Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Rubin engages in civic organizations, serving on the board of the Young Risk Professionals of Georgia. Her leadership extends back to her college days when she was on the executive board of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee from 2012 to 2015. For her achievements, she was named University of Mississippi Student Athlete of the Month in 2013 and earned spots on various honor rolls during her collegiate athletic career.
Outside of work, Ms. Rubin enjoys hiking and attending concerts, activities that reflect her vibrant personality and love for adventure. Looking ahead, she aims to become one of the top brokers at Brown & Riding while expanding Coverage & Clubs to encourage more women to join both golf and the insurance industry. Her vision includes fostering a supportive community where women feel empowered to excel while enjoying recreational pursuits.
