Vivo launched its V27 series of smartphones in India on March 1st, and now the Chinese manufacturer has launched a new Vivo V27e to expand its V-series offering in Malaysia. The company’s mid-range offering was launched in two colorways, Glory Black and Lavender Purple. The handset sports a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and capacitive multi-touch support. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and packs a 4,600mAh battery.
Vivo V27e price, availability
The Vivo V27e was launched at a price of RM1,299 (approx. Rs. 24,000) for the sole 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The handset comes in Glory Black and Lavender Purple color variants.
The smartphone is available from Vivo Malaysia official site. The company has not shared details on smartphone availability in India.
Vivo V27e specifications
The newly launched Vivo V27e runs on Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 and supports dual SIM. It features a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with capacitive multi-touch support and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The FHD+ display has a resolution of 2,400 × 1,080 pixels. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM.
For optics, the Vivo V27e offers a 64-megapixel main camera on the back with OIS, accompanied by two 2-megapixel sensors for bokeh and macro shots. For selfies and video calls, the handset has a 32-megapixel front camera. In addition, it features a triple rear flash with a single color temperature.
The phone comes with up to 256GB of storage and has a microSD slot for expandable storage. Connectivity options include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port, GPS, OTG, and NFC. It packs a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W flash charging.
It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass, and gyroscope. The Vivo V27e in the Glory Black color option weighs 185g and measures 162.51 × 75.81 × 7.70mm, while the Lavender Purple color weighs 186g and measures 162.51 × 75.81 × 7.80mm.
