OMAHA, NE, March 10, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ — Joelle Frazer has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Frazer has dedicated her career to special education, with a focus on supporting students with disabilities. She is currently associated with the Millard School District, where she has spent several years assisting students in meeting their Individualized Education Program goals by providing a supportive environment for testing and homework. Her office serves as a haven for students who need guidance when teachers or case managers are unavailable. Her commitment to special education extends beyond the classroom, as she is also involved with Special Olympics Nebraska.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Frazer spent two years at Educational Service Unit #3 as a special education autism paraprofessional. From 2012 to 2015, she worked at Pappillion Trumble Park, where she honed her skills in supporting students with autism. She began her career with Sioux City Community Schools between 2008 and 2012, where she first embarked on her journey in special education. Throughout her career, she has been an advocate for children with disabilities, drawing from her personal experiences and deep understanding of their challenges.

After earning a high school diploma from Alcester-Hudson in 1979, Ms. Frazer completed coursework at the University of South Dakota. Her early exposure to braille due to her adoptive mother’s blindness laid the foundation for her work in special education. This personal connection to disability issues has fueled her passion for helping children with dyslexia and other challenges.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Frazer has been actively involved in civic organizations such as Miss Amazing and Autism of Nebraska. Her dedication to these causes is reflected in the awards she has received, including the Be Kind Award from Millard Public School and the Partnerships for Iowa award from the governor of Iowa.

Looking ahead, Ms. Frazer aims to secure more funding and develop additional programs for children with disabilities, particularly in districts lacking support. She envisions creating opportunities such as social skills training and community job shadowing to help these children thrive in society. Through scholarships and dedicated programs, she hopes to make a lasting impact on the lives of young individuals with disabilities.
