The second part of the popular series The night managerstarring Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor, will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on June 30th. A high-octane thriller packed with lavish drama and picturesque sights, The Night Manager is the Hindi language adaptation of John le Carre’s novel of the same name.
The show was created and directed by Sandeep Modi and produced by The Ink Factory and Banijay Asia.
The Night Manager follows Shaan Sengupta (Kapur) as he goes undercover to bring down arms dealer Shaildendra ‘Shelly’ Rungta (Anil Kapoor)’s empire. Director Modi said the team was overwhelmed with the love the first part received after its release in February this year.
“The Night Manager: Part 2 offers double the action and thrills. The powerful alliance between Shaan and Shelly will shake the very heart of everything, weaving a new web of conspiracies and deceit. There is much more to come in the upcoming installment. Audiences will enjoy every part of the series,” the creator said in a statement.
Kapoor said the love and support from the fans pushed her to work harder on the second chapter.
“I can’t wait for everyone to witness the twists and turns that lie ahead. Shelly will be at his best,” he added.
Kapur said, “The success of the first part has been truly humbling and we look forward to audiences seeing what lies ahead in Shelly and Shaan’s journey. The twists, the thrill and the suspense – it will all end.”
The Night Manager also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl and Saswata Chatterjee in key roles.
