The Redmi 12 4G has appeared online in an unboxing video ahead of its launch. The unofficial video gives us a glimpse of the phone’s design, as well as its possible price and specifications. The alleged Redmi 12 can be seen with a punch-hole cutout on the display and is said to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. The 4G smartphone could be offered in three different color variants. The Redmi 12 comes with a triple rear camera, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor.
Tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), in collaboration with Newzonly, leaked an unboxing video of the Redmi 12 4G. According to the leak, the handset will go on sale in the next 10 days at a price of US$155 (about Rs 12,700). It will be offered in midnight black, polar silver and sky blue tones.
The alleged video of the Redmi 12 4G shows the retail box of the mobile phone. It comes in a sky blue color option with a punched display design. According to the video, the power button and volume rocker are located on the left rear of the smartphone, while the SIM tray can be seen on the right. It appears to have an AI-assisted triple rear camera and LED flash.

The Redmi 12 is said to have a 6.79-inch Full HD LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to run on an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. The handset is expected to feature a triple rear camera unit, topped by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. For selfies and video chats, the phone could have an 8-megapixel sensor on the front.
The Redmi 12 was recently spotted on Redmi’s official Portugal website. The listing confirmed a 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging support for the handset. It is also said to have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The alleged smartphone is expected to succeed redmi 10. the latter was started in March last year with a price of Rs. 10,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant.
