Chromebooks have been game-ready for years thanks to streaming services like Nvidia GeForce Now. But an announcement from Google today (June 7, 2023) brings even more exciting news to Chromebook gaming.

According to one Official Google blog post, Minecraft: Bed Rock Edition is now available to download on Chromebooks via the Google Play Store, meaning Chromebooks can play the game natively. Also included is the Minecraft Marketplace and the ability to play in realms. It’s available for all Chromebooks released in the last three years, which is even better news for those with older models.
