Twitter introduces the ability to upload videos up to 60 minutes long for Twitter Blue subscribers. The microblogging site announced the update via its Twitter Blue Page. The company says subscribers can now upload 60-minute videos. There is a twist though, the feature is currently only available on the web and not on the iOS or Android apps. Recently, Twitter also rolled out a new tweet view counter that allows users to see a tweet’s actual view count exactly as it appears on videos.

As per the details shared on Twitter community page, Twitter Blue subscribers can share up to 60 minutes of 1080p video to the web. However, the video should be under 2 GB. This feature is not available on Twitter Android or iOS apps.

Previously, Twitter Blue subscribers were only allowed to upload 10-minute videos at 1080p resolution with a file size limit of 512MB to the platform. But that has now increased. The new ability also changes the quality of the video for distribution.

Twitter Blue subscription restarted earlier this month under new CEO Elon Musk. iOS users who want to opt-in can subscribe to Twitter Blue by paying $11 (INR 910) per month, while web users need to pay $8 (INR 660) per month. The Twitter Blue subscription offers early access to select features like Edit Tweet and other latest features before they’re available to everyone.

Meanwhile, Twitter has too rolls a view count feature for tweets from December 22nd. Elon Musk announced the launch of the feature via a tweet. Like Elon Musk tweet, the view count for tweets shows how many times a tweet has been viewed. The function is currently available on the web, as well as the iOS and Android app.
