Successful start-ups need more than a brilliant idea or a solution to a problem. You need solid business advice and support to get off to a flying start in these early stages, especially in the crucial first year. Passionate about supporting local entrepreneurs who they believe are vital to the success of the UK economy, WoodWhite Accountants launched a competition specifically for start-up businesses in the Berkshire area.
The NextGen Contest gives these local entrepreneurs a chance to WIN valuable financial, business and marketing support for a year.

A UNIQUE PRICE PACKAGE FROM SPECIALIST PARTNERS
In this second year of the competition, the WoodWhite team has selected specialist partner companies to add further value to the winner. The winner, chosen by a panel of judges in a Dragons Den-style interview, will receive up to £27,000 worth of valuable expertise in business, accounting, tax and marketing for 12 months from April 2023.
Our team of WoodWhite Accountants offer free accounting, tax and business support for a year. The winner will receive support through advisory and compliance services, as well as value-added monthly meetings with a director. They have helped many entrepreneurs and business owners navigate their respective business paths and are therefore well placed to provide sound guidance.

New for 2023, WoodWhite Accountants have partnered with specialist firms working with SMEs.
BUSINESS COACHING BY PRO-ACTIONS
Jessica Martin of Pro-actions Business Coaching and Support offers three months of business coaching and consulting with up to two meetings per month. They’ll help you develop everything your business needs, from setting clear goals to developing a strategy and preparing to navigate tough business decisions with confidence.
MARKETING BY PP8 MARKETING
Paula Parker of PP8 Marketing will conduct a pre-marketing review, including deep insight into your target customer, helping to develop a clear marketing strategy and planning to achieve your business goals. After six months, PP8 meets with the winner for a review and advance planning meeting to keep them on track to achieve their goals.
IP CONSULTING BY IP ARKITK
Charles Clark, Founder of IP Arkitek, will host a one-time IP business advisory session to offer his expert advice on IP issues and the development and execution of business strategies for the new company.
