The Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1 was confirmed in the console brand’s latest Nintendo Direct showcase for Nintendo Switch.
Join to publish the collection on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC has been confirmed by Konami switch publish that the classic games can be run on all modern platforms.
And that’s not all – there is now a confirmed Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1 Release date is October 24th and priced at $59.99. While that’s basically the price of a full new-gen game, remember you’re getting a whole host of great games here – and it’s opening up the famed stealth series to a brand new, modern audience. While the collection was originally announced with the Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake as part of last month’s PlayStation Showcasethis Switch announcement is new and the release date information is crucial – and certainly an exciting flag to plant in the ground.

If you pre-order the collection, you’ll also get a few more remastered soundtracks.
The total package means the collection is absolutely one of the most anticipated upcoming games of the year and could be a treat new switch game when it starts.
While they’ll show some age, the PS1 and PS2 Metal Gear games will almost certainly remain some of them best single player games will come out for some fans this year.
