Now, a tipster has suggested that the earbuds will also launch in a new color variant alongside the existing white variant. It is speculated that the new color could be released at the same time Nothing phone 2scheduled to start on July 11th.
Tipster Roland Quandt (@rquant) has divided Leaked design renditions of a black Nothing Ear 2. The images show that the earbuds of this variant have a similar semi-transparent design. The interior of the charging case is shown in black. The earphones also mainly use black tones.

The Nothing’s Ear 2 in-ear earphones feature up to 40dB of active noise cancellation and custom-tuned 11.6mm drivers and three AI-powered microphones in each earbud. Both headphones feature simple touch controls that allow users to easily perform multiple functions. With a single touch, users can pause or play music and answer or end calls. With two consecutive touches, the user can skip ahead in their playlist or reject a call. Users can also jump back with three consecutive touches. By pressing and holding either bud, users can toggle between active noise cancellation and transparency mode, the latter letting in ambient noise.
The Nothing Ear 2 has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, while the charging case has an IP55 rating. They also support Bluetooth v5.3 connectivity. Each earbud packs a 33mAh battery, while the case packs a 485mAh battery. With a charging time of 10 minutes, the earphones should offer a listening time of up to eight hours. With the charging case, they offer a total battery life of up to 36 hours.
