Oppo is believed to be working on the Oppo Reno 8T, although the company has just released three new Oppo Reno 9 series smartphones. Furthermore, a recent report suggests that Oppo could also develop a 5G variant of this rumored model. The Oppo Reno 8T 5G has reportedly been spotted on various certification sites. Unfortunately, no pricing or launch details are included with these listings. We can expect more information to be released in the coming days.
According to a recent PriceBaba reportthe Oppo Reno 8T 5G appeared in the IMDA database with the model number CPH2505. Additionally, this model has also reportedly made its way to the Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS), Europe’s EEC, and Thailand’s TKDN certification bodies.
These listings are intended to confirm this oppo The smartphone offers 5G, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS connectivity. The company has yet to officially deal with the specifications of the Oppo Reno 8T 5G.
In related news, the Oppo Reno had 8T (4G) too popped up on TKDN, EEC and BIS in early December. An Oppo smartphone, model number CPH2481, had also reportedly received SIRIM and Element Materials Technology certifications. This variant is expected to come with wired 33W fast charging support. The price information is still under lock and key. However, the slower charging compared to the Oppo Reno 8 – which offers 80W fast charging – could indicate that it is a cheaper model.
The vanilla Oppo Reno 8 was started in India earlier this year at a starting price of Rs. 29,999. Meanwhile the Oppo Reno 9 series also has debuted in China. The base model costs 2,499 CNY (about 30,000 rupees). This new flagship range also includes the Oppo Reno 9 Pro and Oppo Reno 9 Pro+.
