Infinix GT 10 Pro+ has surfaced online in a new leak that reveals the handset’s design and key specs. The Chinese smartphone maker previously announced that it was working on a handset that would be similar in design to the Nothing phone 2 recently launched by the UK-based startup led by Carl Pei. According to a tipster on a Chinese microblogging website, the upcoming smartphone series will include the Infinix GT 10 Pro and the Infinix GT 10 Pro+.
Weibo user Perfect Arrangement Digital (translated from Chinese) leaked images (above Abhishek Yadav) of two smartphones – the Infinix GT 10 Pro and the GT 10 Pro+ – which are expected to make their debut in China soon. The picture of the Infinix GT 10 Pro+ suggests that the device will have a transparent back. Tipster Yogesh Brar tweeted that the handset has a clear glass back panel that sits over the LED strips.
The handsets’ key specs appear in the leaked images in the About phone section of the Settings app. The Infinix GT 10 Pro+ is said to come with a Dimensity 8050 chipset, while the GT 10 Pro model will come with a Dimensity 1300 SoC. Both phones have Full HD+ displays and run Android 13. They have a 108-megapixel triple camera on the back and a 32-megapixel selfie camera, according to leaked images showing both handsets have 5,000 mAh batteries.
Earlier this week, Infinix announced in a press release that the company is working on a smartphone that will resemble the Nothing Phone 2, and shared a side-by-side diagram of the phones with a similarly curved LED notification strip in the center of the rear panel.
At the time, the Chinese smartphone maker had suggested that the phone would be launched as part of a new GT series of phones aimed at gamers. The images leaked on Weibo match the diagram shared by Infinix, including the camera module aligned with the top left corner of the phone.
Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, responded to a tipster who released the company’s leaked information that it was “time to get the lawyers ready.” However, it is currently unclear whether these LED strips on the Infinix GT 10 Pro+ mimic the functionality of the Nothing smartphones.
