OnePlus Pad, the Chinese tech company’s long-rumored tablet offering, has reportedly been tested in India. The new Android tablet is set to launch alongside the OnePlus 11R in the country. The tablet is internally codenamed “Aries”. Previous leaks had indicated that the OnePlus Pad would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Previous reports have suggested that the OnePlus Pad is internally codenamed Reeves. However, OnePlus has not yet announced any details about its first tablet.

According to a report from mysmartprice, OnePlus pad codenamed Aries, has participated in private testing in India. The device is believed to be the first tablet offering from the Chinese tech brand, led by Pete Lau. It is expected to be unveiled alongside the one in India OnePlus 11R sometime in June of this year. The OnePlus Pad moniker has popped up a few times before, along with the code name ‘Reves’.

OnePlus Pad was in the rumor mill already for some months. Rumors from 2022 claimed that it will debut with a price tag of 2,999 CNY (about 34,500 rupees). It was reported to have launched last year, but that didn’t happen.

It was hinted that it would debut with a 12.4-inch Full HD+ OLED display and run on Android 12L. The tablet is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 865 SoC, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The dual rear camera setup has been suggested to include a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. An 8-megapixel selfie sensor is also said to be available on the OnePlus Pad. The alleged tablet is said to be supported by a 10,090 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

However, since there is no official confirmation of the launch of the OnePlus Pad, these details should be treated with caution.
