Dead Space Remake pre-orders on Steam come with a free copy of the original Dead Space 2. Those who buy EA Motive’s reimagining of the 2008 survival horror game by launch day – January 27th – will get the sequel for free. Dead Space Remake costs Rs. 2,999/$60. This allows new players who have never experienced space engineer Isaac Clarke’s claustrophobic journey to dive right into the follow-up story. (Don’t expect the two to look the same, of course.) Given that the original Dead Space was only 11 hours long, it’s hard to expect a longer runtime for its remake either, and that’s where the sequel comes in.

excluding sales, dead space 2 is generally priced at Rs. 999/ $20, making this pre-order offer a decent deal. Apart from that, the game is included for free as part of the EAPlay Subscription on PC, Xbox and PlayStation that starts at Rs. 315 per month.

Set three years after the events of the original, dead space 2 Finds our protagonist Clarke on the Sprawl, a massive space station orbiting Saturn, equipped to battle yet another horde of bloodthirsty Necromorphs while grappling with insane visions of his dead girlfriend. not as Original game from 2008the sequel added voice lines for our protagonist – a trait that will continue and build upon it for the time to come Dead Space remake. However developer Motif Studio reiterated that Clarke will only speak when spoken to, or in places where it makes sense.

First Announced In 2021 the studio was fair open with the development process on the Dead Space remake, which provides community members with insights into concept art, gameplay, and camera effects, who then provide appropriate feedback. in one blog entryCreative director Roman Campos-Oriola also announced that this new version will reduce camera cuts and loading screens – unless you die – similar to God of War (2018)where the entire game plays out as one consecutive shot.

However, the story is the same as the original 2008 title, in which Clarke is tasked with repairing the mining ship USG Ishimura, only to find that something has gone horribly wrong. The crew is dead and hostile creatures called Necromorphs are lurking around.

Just like the original, players will be equipped with weapons that can be used to set the aliens on fire, electrify them into tiny bits of flesh, or get up close and personal by stomping their heads on the metallic ground. Bits of lore from the Dead Space comics and the later games are also incorporated into the story, so it ends cohesively – although there’s no word on if EA plans to remake the rest of the trilogy in the future.

While all Dead Space Remake pre-orders come with the Dead Space 2 bonus, a Deluxe Edition is also available that adds five exclusive cosmetics to the base game. It is listed at Rs. 3,499 on steam.

Dead Space launches on January 27th personal computer, PS5and Xbox Series S/X. Pre-orders are now live across all platforms, with Steam offering a copy of Dead Space 2 (2011) as a bonus.
