India’s IITians, ISBians join Mudrex’s Student Web3 Community WAGMI

Students from some of India’s top colleges and universities have engaged in a Web3 focused initiative launched by Mudrex. The crypto investment platform lets Indian students participate in Web3 projects, quizzes and panel discussions with industry experts – to give them a deep feel for the next-gen technology sector. Mudrex has dubbed this initiative “WAGMI,” which is a popular buzzword in the crypto community, expanding to “We Are Going to Make It.”

A total of 15 student clubs from 20 renowned institutes have joined forces mudrex participate in the WAGMI project. Colleges like IITs, ISB and NITs are part of the project alongside other institutes from Delhi, Madras, Kanpur and Roorkee.

“WAGMI will provide a valuable platform for students to learn, connect and grow in Web3,” said Edul Patel, Mudrex CEO and co-founder, while commenting on the development.

The company’s executives at the time had said that India will produce the top line of developers making the country a hotspot for Web3 startups to grow and thrive.

As per KuCoin report, India has over 115 million crypto investors, which accounts for 15 percent of its vast population. Most Indian crypto investors are between 18 and 60 years old.

Therefore, other Web3 platforms have also started similar initiatives with Indian students to encourage them to innovate in the Web3 sector.

Last year, Tezos India curated programs like his scholarship, bootcamps and hackathons to help students build startups in the Web3 space.
