PS Plus Extra and Deluxe Free, Classic Games announced for January

Devil May Cry 5 and two games from the Life is Strange series headline the January lineup of free games coming to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium catalogues. Beginning January 17th, higher-level PS Plus subscribers will gain access to the former critically acclaimed title that sees you hacking and smashing your way through a hellish invasion as the seeds of a “demon tree” take root in Red Grave City. Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition will be available on PS5 – the PS4 version will also make its way to PS Plus Extra subscribers. Matching the action affair, Back 4 Blood is also coming to the platform. In the game, you can team up with up to three other players and hunt zombies, work together to gather resources, and survive increasingly challenging missions. Back 4 Blood can be played on both PS4 and PS5.

In it you play as Max Caulfield, a photography student who discovers the ability to rewind time and becomes involved in a mystery involving several missing teenage girls in Arcadia Bay. Sony revealed the list on his PlayStation Blogto reveal all the new games available for PSPlus Extra and Deluxe members in January (PS Plus Deluxe is known as PS Plus Premium in select markets). Last month’s catalog contained three Far away games, next to it Yakuza: Like a dragon and Yakuza 6: The Song of Lifejust to name a few.

The blog post also mentions the PS Plus Classics catalogue, exclusive to PS Plus Deluxe/Premium members. This month brings Siphon Filter 3, Star Wars Demolition and Hot Shots Golf 2.

Until February 6th, PS Plus Essential, Extra and Deluxe members can add Souls-like adventure to EA’s space set Star Wars Jedi: Fallen OrderBethesda’s first multiplayer project Fallout 76and Axiom Verge 2, an 8-bit adventure in which you explore a sprawling, ancient alien world, to their libraries.

PlayStation Plus Deluxe subscription begins in India from Rs. 849 per month while the Extra subscription starts at Rs. 749 per month. Sony currently holds one Sale for its PS Plus plans until tonight 13th January where you can get 12 months of PS Plus Extra and Deluxe for Rs. 2,999 and Rs. 3,749. The discount applies to new users only, while existing subscribers save 30 percent when upgrading.
