Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 5 will be released on February 24th on Netflix. Credited with bringing many new viewers and fans to the world-class motorsport world championship, the popular Netflix-produced documentary series was first released in 2019 and chronicles the completed 2018 F1 world championship. The upcoming episodes, now entering its fifth season will cover the recently concluded 2022 F1 World Championship and provide a behind-the-scenes look at events as the season progressed.

The show originally started with limited attendance from F1 teams, drivers and executives, but its success has continued Netflix and the subsequent growth in Formula One viewership – particularly in the lucrative United States region – saw many more drivers and teams come on board for later seasons. Drive to Survive interviews Key F1 drivers and team leaders, and offers a closer and more personal look at many of the sport’s most important contemporary figures and rivalries.
