Video call quality on Pixel 7 phones is reportedly very poor. When making video calls across multiple apps, including Google Meet, the video quality is said to be relatively below average compared to other smartphones in the same range. The videos received from the Pixel 7 are said to be noticeably blurrier and appear smeared.
A Reddit useras reported from the Android Police, claimed that the video call quality on their Pixel 7 was weaker compared to much older devices. They say the quality is lower on various apps including Google Meet. the Pixel7 The owner originally thought the problem was with the Google Meet app. For testing, the user installed Google Meet on a Pixel 3 XL and a 2018 iPad Pro. Video calls from both systems were much sharper and clearer than the Pixel 7, according to the post.
Dozens of other Android users commented on the post where a Pixel 7 Pro The owner stated that video calls on Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram and Google’s own app were also blurry.
