Nvidia’s new AI tool for Chrome will make YouTube videos pop

Nvidia finally announced the official launch date of its RTX Video Super Resolution feature, first announced during CES 2023. The tool, which uses artificial intelligence to upscale video to 4K resolution, is slated for a February 2023 release window for Chrome and Edge browsers.

RTX Video Super Resolution, as illustrated PC gamer, allows “Resolutions beyond 1080p. It upscales video with a native resolution between 360p and 1440p and works with video with a frame rate up to 144Hz.” This feature requires either an RTX 3000 series or 4000 series GPU to run.
