Twitter has changed the function of the “For You” and “Following” timeline tabs on its homepage. On Wednesday, she announced that the web version of the social media platform will now remember the timeline a user was last on. Musk also revealed that Twitter is working on giving users the ability to customize the positions of the timeline tabs in the app. Currently, the For You tab is in the top left of the home page, with the Following tab to the right. He also announced that Twitter users can now bookmark tweets directly from the tweet detail page. The app will soon include support for displaying the number of users who have bookmarked a specific tweet.
Another new feature is coming to Twitter soon. It works to automatically translate tweets and recommend them to users in other countries. Musk announced that tweets are translated before being recommended to users.
