OnePlus is gearing up for its Cloud 11 event, where the Chinese manufacturer will showcase the OnePlus 11 line of smartphones, the OnePlus 11 5G and the OnePlus 11R 5G. The company will also introduce OnePlus Buds Pro 2 true wireless earbuds and the OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro. Now, the Shenzhen-based manufacturer has also confirmed the launch of the OnePlus Pad tablet at the same event. The company previously teased a tablet on its website, but OnePlus has now officially listed the OnePlus Pad on its Cloud 11 event reveal list. Aside from an image of the tablet showing design details and color, OnePlus hasn’t revealed any specs for the device.
the OnePlus pad can now be seen on the company’s Cloud 11 microsite. The tablet is featured in a green color scheme OnePlus Branding on the back. It can be seen with a single rear camera module with LED flash. It will be launched in India along with the OnePlus 11 series smartphones on the cloud 11 Event on February 7th. The event will take place at 7.30pm IST in Delhi.
Before OnePlus confirmed its upcoming tablet on the Cloud 11 microsite, the tipster had OnLeaks in partnership with MySmartPrice leaked Some design renderings of the tablet. The renders suggest a metal body design, thin symmetrical bezels, and a front-facing camera. The report also claimed that the OnePlus Pad would have an 11.6-inch display.
According to another MySmartPrice report OnePlus’ upcoming tablet could be a rebranded Oppo Pad. the Oppo pad was launched last year and features a 10.95-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1,600 x 2,560 pixels. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The Oppo Pad comes with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
It happened earlier this month reported that OnePlus’ upcoming tablet was codenamed “Aries” and being tested in India. Although no official OnePlus Pad details are available, previous leaks suggested that the tablet could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It was like that last year reported that the tablet could be launched with a price tag of CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs. 34,500).
