OnePlus Ace 2 launch date confirmed, specs and features teased

The OnePlus Ace 2 launch date has been confirmed by the Chinese smartphone company. The handset was tipped to launch outside of China in global markets as the OnePlus 11R. OnePlus Ace 2 is scheduled to launch in China on February 7th. The company announced this confirmation on its Chinese website, revealing some of the smartphone’s display specs and features. OnePlus Ace 2 comes with a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Along with the smartphone, the company will also launch OnePlus Buds Ace.

According to OnePlus post On Chinese social media handle Weibo, the OnePlus Ace 2 will debut in China on February 7th. The company has also teased the design and some of the key specs of the smartphone’s display. The poster published by OnePlus shows the phone with a curved display bezel that has a center-aligned hole. The handset is teased with a 6.74-inch display.

Additionally, the OnePlus Ace 2’s display offers a 1.5K display resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels along with a 120Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and high-frequency PWM dimming. The display panel also offers a peak brightness of up to 1,450 nits.

Meanwhile, the company will also launch the OnePlus Buds Ace on the same day. OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch, teasing some of the key features of the earbuds. They are said to offer a dedicated Dynamic Wave Bass system that amplifies bass sounds. The wearables also feature a dual-core noise-cancellation chip to provide active noise-cancellation (ANC).

The Chinese manufacturer further claimed that the earbuds will offer up to 36 hours of battery life in the charging case. It will support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
