Pathaan is approaching Rs. 700 crore at the worldwide box office

Yash Raj Films’ Pathaan starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham is on the verge of breaking Rs. 700 crore gross worldwide in nine days. The spy thriller directed by Siddharth Anand grossed Rs. 15.65 crore net in India (Hindi – Rs. 15 crore, all dubbed versions – Rs. 65 lakh).

Accordingly Yash Raj Movies (YRF), Pathan recorded Rs. 259.6 crore in overseas territories alone while gross receipts in India are at Rs. 436 million.

Also included Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana, the blockbuster film to follow Shah Rukhs Pathaan, an Indian intelligence agent who resurfaces to thwart a terrorist attack planned on the Indian capital by the Outfit X mercenary group led by Jim (John).

Pathaan is Shah Rukh’s first theatrical release as a lead actor in over four years after Zero (2018). It is the fourth film in producer Aditya Chopra’s spy universe, following Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai and War. Hrithik Roshan.
