COLUMBIA, SC, December 08, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Angela L. Wright has been inducted into Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Drawing on nearly four decades of experience in the healthcare profession, Ms. Wright is recognized as the founder and owner of The House of Hathor, a retail shop and nonprofit. Since founding the store in 2016, she has carefully curated its selection of culture-related items, including clothing, incense, oils, jewelry and artwork. In addition to the store’s retail capacity, The House of Hathor also supports the needs of the community through offerings like book clubs, cultural character coaching, and a rights of passage program.

After working for 39 years with people with developmental, intellectual, and mental needs, Ms. Wright came to the realization that special needs come in various forms, and not all of them are visible. In response, she embarked on a new endeavor to help individuals with mental health conditions, such as depression, that are too often overlooked and disregarded. This mission inspired her to start a retail/non-profit organization, The House of Hathor, along with her husband, to cater to the needs of such individuals, provide them with resources, and assist them along their spiritual paths. At its core, the organization is dedicated to providing support and assistance to those who need it most. Utilizing her expertise of holistic healing, Ms. Wright strives to make her store a safe haven for people seeking spiritual and mental wellness.

On a personal note, Ms. Wright is the mother of a child with cerebral palsy, who tragically passed away at 23. Her own experience as a mother, struggling to meet her son’s needs, taught her that there is a lack of community resource for people with disabilities and their families. She took what she learned from her experience and decided to be involved in the healthcare field to cater to and care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Living by her mantra, “reach one, teach one,” Ms. Wright makes it her mission to spread knowledge and create a domino effect of growth and prosperity. In the coming years, she will continue to work toward a thriving community that fosters support and collaboration. Her ultimate goal is to empower individuals to discover their divine purpose and unravel the mysteries of their destiny.

Ms. Wright holds a bachelor’s degree in human services and a master’s degree in human services in psychology, both from Springfield College.
