Netflix has so far announced two Indian originals for February – Class and Romantics. The Hindi adaptation of the Spanish youth series Elite, Class is about three children from middle-class families who receive a scholarship to study at the renowned Hampton International School. Faced with bullying and discrimination from fellow wealthy students, the trio become prime suspects in a murder investigation, exposing the superficial underbelly of the wealthy. All eight episodes of Class are now streaming on Netflix. Meanwhile, The Romantics is a four-part docu-series that pays tribute to the late Bollywood director and producer Yash Raj Chopra through interviews with several actors who worked with him. It will be available to stream on February 14th.
Sanjay Mishra-led (Massan) is another entry too Netflix catalog this month after receiving critical acclaim late last year. In it, a retired school teacher is implicated in the murder of a loan shark after sending his son abroad to study. Will he be able to cover all traces of his family and turn it into a perfect murder?

With Valentine’s Day this month, Netflix’s February offering is packed with a collection of romance movies and series. It starts with the 2011 film No Strings Attached with the main role Ashton Kutcher And Natalie Portman, in which a couple struggle to keep their relationship strictly physical as they develop feelings for each other and yearn for something more personal. On February 10, the South Korean series i love to hate you explores a tale of enemies turned lovers, spiced with a touch of comedy. In it, a lawyer (Kim Ok-vin) who abhors losing to men and an actor (Teo Yoo) who distrusts women are forced to date. All 10 episodes will be available simultaneously on Netflix upon release. On the same day, your place of mine sees longtime friends and opposites Debbie (Reese Witherspoon) and Peter (Kutcher) swap houses for a week and get a glimpse into each other’s lives, which opens a gateway to romance.
February also looks great for anime fans as it is extremely popular chainsaw man has finally dropped on Netflix. Based on the manga series of the same name, it follows Denji, an impoverished young man left for dead who is reborn as a devil-human hybrid with the powers of a chainsaw and is soon inducted into a devil-hunting government agency. After bringing the last manga arc to India last year Bleach: Thousand Years of Blood WarNetflix has now added the first three seasons of Tite Kubo’s acclaimed bleaching Series. The three chapters will follow protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki’s transformation into a Shinigami, followed by his rescue mission to Soul Society to save Kuchiki Rukia from a death sentence.
On the superhero front, Netflix sees an entry from the in February Marvel Cinematic Universeafter a short Re-release in cinemas last year. Spider-Man: No Way Home (Extended Version) is now available to stream on the platform where Peter Parker (Tom Holland) struggles to separate his normal life from fighting crime after being killed by Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). Also known as “The More Fun Stuff Version”, this edition contains 11 minutes of additional footage, including Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, with some other special surprises. Check out February 8th The exchange, a new Arabic-language Netflix Original that sees two women disrupting the Kuwait Stock Exchange’s male-dominated club in the 1980s. The Exchange consists of six episodes and is inspired by real events.
Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 5 by Netflix will be released on February 24th
Speaking of true stories, the February Netflix catalog also includes true spirit, which dramatizes the account of Australian navigator Jessica Watson, who at the age of 16 circumnavigated the world, overcoming her greatest fears and navigating the most difficult stretches of the ocean. Dive into the story of professional basketball player Bill Russell on February 8th Bill Russell: Legend, who traces his illustrious career through interviews, archived footage and conversations with today’s professionals on the scene. Both episodes of the docu-series will be available to stream on February 8th.
Comedian Jim Jefferies is back with another stand-up special, High ‘n Dry, where he reflects on his father’s vasectomy, stoned koalas and more. The special lands on Netflix on February 14.
