The Miami, Florida-based international digital freight company Cargobot announced it was expanding into the European market to complement the organization’s operations in Canada, Mexico and the U.S.

Cargobot said that it will first launch its operations in Spain before expanding to multiple other countries in the EU.

The company will be launching new freight planning tools in early 2024 as part of the expansion project. The initial offering will include the company’s full truckload (FTL) service Cargobot Direct as well as its dry and refrigerated Partial Truckload (PTL) service Cargobot Pool.

“The land transportation market within the European Union is ripe for innovation and presents a valuable opportunity to leverage sector growth and optimize operations through technological solutions,” said Fernando Correa, the CEO and co-founder of Cargobot. “The goal of Cargobot’s technology-integrated solutions is to streamline operations which will, as a result, increase revenues, and reduce risks and complications to the fullest extent. Also, European shippers will have access to Cargobot’s U.S. products and services as part of an international network.”
