PHOENIX, AZ, January 08, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ — Jessica L. Fritz has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Drawing on more than a decade of contributions to the field of architecture, Ms. Fritz has distinguished herself through her work as the owner of J.Cor Architecture, an architectural design firm that specializes in residential construction. Founded in 2020, J.Cor combines technological acumen with high-quality craftsmanship in every endeavor, leveraging innovative 3D tools and a keen passion for creativity. Working closely with both production home and custom home builders from across California, Utah and Arizona to offer a full-service experience on behalf of clients, Ms. Fritz takes great pride in creating harmony between the homeowner’s dreams and the final result of each project.

Coming of age in the rural town of Dalton, Massachusetts, Ms. Fritz was instilled with the values of tenacity and diligence at an early age. Demonstrating a talent for hand sketching as a child, she went on to excel at mathematics and physics while studying in high school. Likewise, growing up in a beautiful 1800s farmhouse imbued her with a love for home design and residential architecture. Attending college at the Wentworth Institute of Technology, she studied architecture from 2007 until her graduation with a Master of Architecture in 2012. During this time, she served as a design intern at Visnick and Caulfield Associates in 2009, and as a studio teacher’s assistant at Wentworth between 2010 and 2012.

Ms. Fritz’s thesis on urbanism in the Phoenix desert caught the attention of Vernon D. Swaback, a founding partner at Swaback Partners, and she was quickly hired after graduation to help his team on a community housing project for the Navajo Nation. Departing from Swaback Partners after a year, she joined William Hezmalhalch Architects in Southern California, where she advanced from a graphic designer to a senior associate project manager between 2013 and 2018. Throughout this period, Ms. Fritz oversaw 12 to 15 single-family housing community projects at one time, and completed work on behalf of various clients, including such communities as Rancho Mission Viejo and The Great Park in Irvine. Another community she contributed to, Olvera at La Floresta in Brea, California, was recognized in the Best 55+ for Sale Community category at the SAGE Silver Awards in 2017.

In 2018, Ms. Fritz returned to Swaback Partners as a project architect, where she managed a large single-family community project in Sacramento, California, until 2020. Now licensed as an architect in California, Utah, Arizona, Delaware, Minnesota and New Mexico, she resolved to fully realize her ambitions of entrepreneurship by establishing her own business, which became J.Cor Architecture. Since opening J.Cor, Ms. Fritz qualified as a Young Leaders finalist for the Western Region of National Association of Home Builders in 2021, and experienced one of her greatest highlights in 2023, when her first home builder client opened a record five new communities in the space of a year.

To remain aware of developments in the field, Ms. Fritz maintains her affiliation with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, Home Builders Association of Central Arizona (HBACA), the Park City Area Home Builders Association, the National Association of Home Builders and the Urban Land Institute. Additionally, she is a proud member of the HBACA’s Professional Women in Building Council.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Fritz regularly volunteers at the Sojourner Center, a nonprofit domestic violence shelter in Arizona. She lives on a small ranch in North Phoenix, where she enjoys quality time spent horseback riding, hiking with her dogs, or enjoying the sunset from her back patio. Looking ahead, Ms. Fritz aspires to start a family of her own.

In accounting for her success, Ms. Fritz credits the discipline she learned during childhood, when she first took up horseback riding. Engaging in multiple chores a day to care for horses, as well as the athleticism required to excel at the sport, imbued her with a powerful work ethic that she has maintained into the present day. As the owner of an architecture and design firm, her days are never the same, promising the fresh excitement of new challenges and a constantly shifting approach to solving problems. Ultimately, Ms. Fritz hopes to further expand the scope of operations at J.Cor Architecture and gather a strong, collaborative team of talented architects who can work together to achieve success well into the future.
