Dedicated to pursuing a career in service to others, Dr. Singh earned his medical education from the Fiji School of Medicine in 1981. He did his internal medicine residency at District of Columbia General Hospital Georgetown University and subsequently, he completed a pulmonary fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis and a fellowship in critical care medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Backed by his considerable education, he excelled as an intensive care unit physician for two and a half decades. Over the years, Dr. Singh also gained valuable expertise in medical administration as a chief of staff.

Drawing on his considerable breadth of experience, Dr. Singh excels as an intensivist in San Jose, California. Through his work, he maintained responsibility for a wide range of clinical work and administrative matters as chief of staff with more than 1,075 medical providers. Likewise, he attends committee meetings and spearheads initiatives aimed at improving patient care and reducing healthcare-associated infections. Through his adept leadership, Dr. Singh has helped Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose achieve the Leapfrog A designation, which is a testament to their dedication to providing quality care.

Driven to remain abreast of ongoing industry changes, Dr. Singh is affiliated with the College of Chest Physicians, the Society for Critical Care Medicine, the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, the Santa Clara County Medical Association, the California Medical Association, and the Neurocritical Care Society. While his career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Singh takes the most pride in graduating at the top of his class in medical school, being named Resident of the Year at DC General Hospital, and earning the honor of Physician Leader of Santa Clara County through the Santa Clara County Medical Association.

Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Dr. Singh credits his success to his wife, his children, and his parents, who encouraged him to seek a quality education, work diligently, and contribute to his society and country.
