According to reports, Windows 11 in its latest Insider build will get control of RGB lighting directly from the system. Most Windows gaming laptops and desktops come with RGB lighting accessories to enhance gamers’ experience. Most companies like Dell, HP, Asus, and Lenovo offer custom apps that allow users to control these lights or the effects they give off. However, Windows 11 does not offer native controls or an app for these RGB lights in its settings. Now Microsoft is said to be working on the light control feature to stop the need for third-party apps.

according to a report by Bleeping Computer above Software developer Albacore that insiders build Windows11 has been discovered to house hidden controls to control RGB lights on your Windows system in its latest iteration. The results suggest that the settings menu will soon allow users to control RGB lighting. The Personalization section in the Settings menu provides an overview of all devices with RGB components, including those connected externally.

In the screenshots shared by the developer, the app interface shows an option to adjust the brightness as well as the color of these lights. In addition, as can be seen, Windows also allows users to change the lighting effects and the speed at which these animations happen. There is also an option to change the color of the RGB lights to match the accent color of Windows 11. With this option, laptop and PC manufacturers can now rest assured that Microsoft has better control over these effects.

Microsoft has yet to officially announce the feature discovered by Albacore in Windows 11 Build 25295. Albacore noted that “the specification for this dates back to 2018 and references to the feature have existed for years.”

Meanwhile, Microsoft permanently Disabled person Internet Explorer from its previous generation windows 10 Operating system via a software update for its browser on February 14th. Clicking the Internet Explorer icon on a Windows 10 computer now redirects users to Microsoft Edge.
